Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately packaging outgoing shipments, ensuring that all products are properly labeled, packaged, and documented. Your role will be crucial in maintaining efficient operations and meeting customer satisfaction.

Duties:

- Pack customer orders

- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents

- Inspect packages for damages or defects

- Unpack, sort, and label received items

- Update inventory records to reflect received shipments

- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items

- Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other equipment

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience in a similar role preferred

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members
